Kellen Hills Receives ASQ Quality Auditor Certification

Memphis, TN - Orchid Design (Orchid), a leader in innovative surgical device design, development and regulatory submission services for the orthopedic and medical device industry, is pleased to announce that Kellen Hills, Sr. Quality & Regulatory Consultant, has completed the requirements to be named an ASQ-Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ CQA).

As such, Kellen Hills has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in, and a comprehension of, auditing principles and practices.

“As the compliance bar continues to be raised on our industry, it is important that we also increase our team’s capabilities to support our customers.  Kellen’s ASQ CQA training and certification is a great example of this recognition,” said Steve Maguire, General Manager of Orchid Design. 


Kellen Hills, Senior Quality & Regulatory Consultant, joined Orchid Design Team in Memphis in October 2013. Prior to joining Orchid, Kellen held various positions in the medical device industry, including Process Development Engineer, Regulatory Specialist and, most recently, International Regulatory Affairs Manager where he specialized in global regulatory strategy and registration for hip, knee, trauma and biologic medical devices. Kellen received his B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
