Nate joined Orchid in 2020 with 20 years of medical device experience and a deep understanding of the orthopedic implant end market. Prior to joining Orchid, he served as Vice President & General Manager for ConMed’s Orthopedics business, where he successfully accelerated growth through a customer-centric operating model with strong focus on accountability. Prior to ConMed, he served as President of Zimmer’s Trauma Division, preceded by several other executive roles at Zimmer and Stryker. Prior to joining Stryker, Mr. Folkert was a helicopter pilot in the United States Army, having graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Angie joined Orchid in 2020 as Chief Human Resource Officer. Prior to joining Orchid, she spent more than 18 years at Stryker, where she held roles of increasing responsibility and influence. She has a wide breath of experience in Human Resources, Operations, Regulatory and Compliance. In her last role she ran Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement for the entire corporation. Angie has a passion for people, driving engagement and developing talent. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Scott joined Orchid in 2023 with more than 20 years of experience in quality management, engineering and operations. Prior to joining Orchid, he served as Vice President of Operations at Microport Orthopedics and before that he was in charge of Global Quality at Microport. Scott earned his BS and MS in Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis and completed the Executive Education Program from Vanderbilt University. 

Josh joined Orchid in 2011 and spent his first 13 years at Orchid as part of the finance team building out the financial reporting systems, data infrastructure, and helping Orchid become the global company it is today.  While he has always been involved in commercial activities at Orchid, he officially transitioned to his dedicated commercial role in 2024 to focus on growth and improved customer experience.  Prior to joining Orchid, he began his professional career in public accounting at Plante Moran where he served clients in auditing, tax, and consulting services across various industries. He has been a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Michigan since 2006.  Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Accounting and Corporate Finance from Central Michigan University.

Justin joined Orchid in 2024 with more than 23 years of extensive experience in the medical device industry and with a wealth of knowledge in developing customer-centric solutions. Prior to joining Orchid, he worked at Stryker, Conmed and Biologos, which helped him to understand the evolving needs of orthopedic professionals. His insights and strategic approach will empower Orchid to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges faced by our customers, ultimately enhancing the ability of orthopedic OEMs to improve patient care.  Walsh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from DePaul University.
