Orchid’s executive team is committed to supporting those in the orthopedic industry.
Nate joined Orchid in 2020 with 20 years of medical device experience and a deep understanding of the orthopedic implant end market. Prior to joining Orchid, he served as Vice President & General Manager for ConMed’s Orthopedics business, where he successfully accelerated growth through a customer-centric operating model with strong focus on accountability. Prior to ConMed, he served as President of Zimmer’s Trauma Division, preceded by several other executive roles at Zimmer and Stryker. Prior to joining Stryker, Mr. Folkert was a helicopter pilot in the United States Army, having graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Shortly after Ted joined Orchid in 2016, he successfully launched the company’s Project Management Office and transferred large product lines into the business. In his current role, he is responsible for technology, product quality, and optimizing the future contribution that innovation makes for the company growth. Prior to joining Orchid, Ted spent 17 years at Stryker in various R&D and operations roles. Ted has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University as well as an MBA in Integrated Management from Michigan State University.
Jeff joined Orchid in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer, following Integrated Business Planning implementation in several Orchid sites as an independent consultant. Prior to joining Orchid, he has held global P&L roles including the President of Honeywell’s Turbocharger business and several P&L roles in Honeywell’s Commercial Aviation business. He held various operational and finance functional roles early in his career. His business leadership experiences have included two international living experiences. He earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Illinois in Urbana and a MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Ghazi joined Orchid in 2019 as Chief Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and EH&S Officer. Prior to joining Orchid, Ghazi held executive roles including the Senior Vice President of Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs at DJO Global Corporation. Ghazi has more than 22 years of executive leadership experience in Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Operations at the VP/Senior VP level position leading highly regulated companies in industries such as medical device, biotechnology and aerospace for OSI Systems, Life Technologies, Rockwell Collins and Cardinal Health. Ghazi is a certified Six-Sigma executive champion, earned a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Iowa, Tippie School of Management.
Louis joined Orchid in 2018. He brings more than two decades of experience in executive leadership and business development roles, including President & CEO of Noise & Vibration Technologies, LLC, COO of The HallStar Company, and President – Specialty Products Division of Belden Inc. Mr. Pace has an M.M. in finance and decision sciences from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
Angie joined Orchid in 2020 as Chief Human Resource Officer. Prior to joining Orchid, she spent more than 18 years at Stryker, where she held roles of increasing responsibility and influence. She has a wide breath of experience in Human Resources, Operations, Regulatory and Compliance. In her last role she ran Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement for the entire corporation. Angie has a passion for people, driving engagement and developing talent. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
