Throughout the month of September, employees at Orchid's Chelsea, MI facility raised money for the Crop Walk to End World Hunger through a bake sale, t-shirt fundraiser and personal donations.
The Crop Walk took place in downtown Chelsea on Sunday, Oct. 2nd. The Orchid Chelsea team had ten walkers, two babies in strollers and one dog. The event consisted of a kickoff party, the option of a 1 mile or 5 mile walk and a celebration at the finish line.
The community of Chelsea raised more than $6,000 for the cause! It was a great event and we can’t wait to participate again next year!
